Picture Book Learning was originally designed to be used by teachers to strengthen a curriculum and provide challenging activities for students with varying levels of language arts abilities.  The brains behind the idea, Corinne Osborne, developed the concept while teaching second grade and completing her Master’s degree in Elementary Education. During this time, she created dozens of Picture Book Learning Skill Sheets that encompass a variety of important language arts skills. They were tested with many different picture books in her classroom and in the classrooms of fellow teachers.
